Ayo Lewis

Ayo is a senior executive responsible for the Bank's Enterprise Risk Management and Compliance functions. His oversight spans risk governance, risk appetite and limit structures, risk measurement and reporting, and capital adequacy, alongside ensuring the Bank's adherence to applicable regulatory requirements and internal policy obligations across all operational and business functions.

He brings extensive cross-sector experience, having held senior management roles at Sterling Financial Holdings Plc and Sterling Bank Ltd across Risk Management, Corporate and Investment Banking, Commercial Banking, and Retail Banking. Earlier in his career, he was at Cornerstone Insurance Plc, where he gained exposure to insurance underwriting and claims management.

Ayo holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Actuarial Science from the University of Lagos and is an alumnus of the Stanford University Graduate School of Business and The Wharton School
